Finding Products with Star-Product Potential (Seller)

Find out which ASINs have the potential to become star products, and where you should focus.

Before Getting Started

This use case uses the Portfolio Analyzer (Seller), which classifies every ASIN into one of four quadrants (Star, Quick Buy, Shelf Warmer, Question Mark) based on its traffic and conversion rate relative to the rest of your portfolio.

Step 1 — Rank your products

Go to the Portfolio Analyzer and sort by Ordered Revenue to bring your best-performing ASINs to the top.

Step 2 — Find the hidden potential

Check that all your Star ASINs have optimised content (you can verify this in the Content Score) and are receiving ad spend (no advertising alarm).

Your Quick Buys already convert well but do not get enough traffic. Check in the Portfolio Analyzer whether they already have advertising spend. If not, you have found your potential: these products convert visitors efficiently, so driving more traffic to them (through ads, SEO, or merchandising) is the fastest route to turning a Quick Buy into a Star.

Migration note (Phase 1b): Created as a new Use Case page from the legacy Seller Analytics page "Seller Portfolio Analyzer — How to find out which products have the potential to become a star product?"
