This workflow helps you find out whether your products would have potential in a certain Amazon category.
It uses the Bestseller Brands and Products dashboard. You can only use this analysis if you have inserted bestseller categories in your tracking setup (Setup → Managing Bestseller Lists).
Step 1
Go to the Bestseller dashboard in the Market Insights section. Here you can select a time range and the categories you want to learn more about, to understand the product composition of a given category.
Step 2
Check the price structure and the composition of the competitors:

Are there big brands with a huge marketing budget?

Are there only a few brands owning the whole category?

Does my pricing fit the category?

… and so on.
