Overview
The Net Received Revenue and Units dashboard is the sell-in deep dive for Amazon Vendor Central brands. It focuses on one core question: what did Amazon actually receive into its fulfilment network from us — in value and in units — and how does that compare to the previous period and the previous year? It also pairs that sell-in view with inventory health (sellable on-hand units, inventory cost value, aged stock, and unhealthy units), so you can see at a glance whether incoming shipments are flowing through to healthy stock positions or piling up.
It is designed for vendor managers, supply planners, and account leads who need to monitor sell-in momentum and inventory quality on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly cadence — by marketplace, category, subcategory, tag, or individual ASIN.
This dashboard is drill-enabled: clicking on a date in the detail table opens the ASIN Focus Report for that period.
What You Can See on This Dashboard
Section: Net Received Revenue & Inventory Level YoY
The opening trend chart shows Net Received Revenue and sellable inventory levels over the trailing 12 periods, each plotted alongside the equivalent value from the previous year. Use it to read sell-in momentum and stock availability side by side.
Key metrics:

Net Received Revenue — Inventory cost value of goods received by Amazon in each period (current year and prior year).

Inventory Level — Sellable on-hand units at Amazon's fulfilment centres at the end of each period (current year and prior year).
Visualizations: Combined bar chart with Net Received Revenue (current and prior year) and Inventory Level (current and prior year) overlaid by period.
Note: When the Yearly reporting range is selected, the chart automatically switches to monthly granularity so you can still see seasonality within the year.
Section: Net Received Revenue — Period KPI
A scorecard showing Net Received Revenue (NRR) — the inventory cost value of goods Amazon received from you in the selected period — alongside its trend versus either the previous period (PP) or the previous year (YoY), depending on the Compare to filter.
What this measures: Actual sell-in. This is what Amazon has physically taken into its fulfilment network, not what was sold through to end customers.
Section: Net Received Revenue YTD
A scorecard showing year-to-date Net Received Revenue for the selected year, compared to the same number of days in the previous year for a like-for-like YTD comparison.
Section: Average Periodic Growth Rate (APGR)
A scorecard showing the average growth rate of Net Received Revenue across all completed periods in the selected range. The label adapts to your reporting range:

How it is calculated: For each completed period, the percentage change in NRR vs. the immediately preceding period is computed. All those individual period growth rates are then averaged. The current in-progress period is always excluded so that a partial period does not skew the average.
Formula: (Growth in P1 + Growth in P2 + … + Growth in Pn) ÷ Number of periods.
Section: Net Received Revenue — Full Previous Year (FPY)
A scorecard showing the total Net Received Revenue for the full calendar year immediately preceding the selected date. Unlike YTD comparisons, this covers all 12 months of the prior year — useful as a full-year reference or as a benchmark when forecasting the current year's trajectory.
Section: Sell-In — Units & Avg. Price (Week-over-Week)
A scorecard combining average price per received unit with net received unit volume, both shown alongside their PP or YoY comparison value.
Key metrics:

Avg. Price — Total net received cost ÷ total net received units for the selected period, in your chosen display currency.

Net Received Units — Total units received in the period.

Comparison values — Same two metrics for either the previous period or the same period one year ago, depending on the Compare to toggle.
Together these tell you whether changes in NRR are being driven by price per unit or unit volume.
Section: {Reporting Range} View — Detail Table
The main detail table at the bottom of the dashboard. One row per reporting period (and marketplace, when multiple marketplaces are included), covering both sell-in and inventory health metrics.

Subcategory depends on Category. Selecting one or more Categories narrows the Subcategory list to only those that belong to the selected categories.

Reporting Range drives Period. Switching Reporting Range (e.g. Weekly → Monthly) reloads the available Period values.

Distributor View affects every monetary metric. Manufacturing and Sourcing use different underlying cost columns. If you swap between them, expect every NRR and inventory amount value to change.

Currency conversion uses the exchange rate at the start of the reporting year. Cross-currency comparisons should be read with that in mind.

Compare to changes the PP trend value in every scorecard and the comparison series in the trend chart simultaneously. The YoY columns in the detail table are always shown regardless of this setting.
Use Cases
1 — Weekly sell-in monitoring
You want to know if Amazon is buying from you at the expected pace this week.

Set Reporting Range = Weekly, Period = the most recent closed week, Compare to = Previous Year.

Read the Net Received Revenue scorecard for the headline number and YoY delta.

Cross-check the Sell-In Units & Avg. Price scorecard — is the change being driven by unit volume or price per unit?

Open the detail table at the bottom and scan the NRR PP Trend and NRR YoY Trend columns by marketplace to find where the swing is concentrated.
2 — Spotting slow-moving inventory
You want to make sure aged stock isn't building up at Amazon and triggering long-term storage fees.

Set Reporting Range = Monthly and select the most recent closed month.

In the detail table, sort by Aged 90+ Days and Unhealthy Units to see which marketplaces and periods are most affected.

Click into a problem date to drill into the ASIN Focus Report and identify the specific products driving the aged stock.
3 — Forecast vs. last year — full-year planning
You are building next year's forecast and need a clean full-year baseline.

Use the Net Received Revenue FPY scorecard for the complete prior-year reference.

Compare it against the current NRR YTD scorecard, then look at the Average Periodic Growth Rate (AMGR / AQGR / AAGR depending on your reporting range) to project the remaining months.

Filter by Category or Tag to build the forecast bottom-up by product group.
4 — Price vs. volume diagnostic
NRR is up but you don't know whether that's because Amazon is buying more units or paying more per unit.

Set Reporting Range = Monthly, Compare to = Previous Year.

Read the Sell-In Units & Avg. Price scorecard side by side — if Avg. Price is up and Units are flat or down, the gain is price-driven (possibly cost increases passed through). If Units are up and Avg. Price is flat, it's a true volume gain.

Repeat per marketplace using the Marketplace filter to see whether the pattern is global or local.
5 — Distributor reconciliation
Your finance team is asking why the Manufacturing and Sourcing views show different NRR.

Run the dashboard once with Distributor View = Manufacturing, note the NRR YTD figure.

Switch Distributor View = Sourcing and note the same figure for the same period.

The difference is the gap between the manufacturing entity and the sourcing entity recording — typical for brands with multi-entity supply chains. The Marketplace P&L summary in the International Business Analysis → Revenue Overview dashboard shows this gap directly.
Limitations & Notes

Vendor Central only. This dashboard covers sell-in to Amazon as a vendor (1P). Seller Central data is not included.

Net Received Revenue ≠ Ordered Revenue. NRR is the cost value of what Amazon has received from you. It is not what end customers have ordered or paid for. Use the Vendor Business Summary for customer-facing sales views.

Year-over-year data availability. Small deviations may appear in YoY comparisons due to limited historical data availability. The YTD Previous Year value is calculated on a daily/weekly cadence, while the current YTD value is calculated on a daily basis — this can introduce small discrepancies. If no prior-year report data exists for your account, YoY comparisons will not be available.

Distributor View changes every monetary value. Manufacturing and Sourcing use different underlying cost columns. Always confirm which view is selected before sharing numbers externally.

Currency conversion uses a start-of-year exchange rate. Cross-currency views may differ slightly from native-currency marketplace figures.

Trailing 12-period chart. The "Net Received Revenue & Inventory Level YoY" chart always shows the trailing 12 periods up to the selected date — even if your Period filter is set to a single period, the chart will still display the surrounding 12-period context. Under the Yearly reporting range, the chart switches to monthly granularity automatically.

Negative comparison values. If the comparison-period value is negative, the trend percentage will carry a negative sign and should be interpreted carefully — the absolute movement is more meaningful than the percentage in those cases.

Aged 90+ Days and Unhealthy Units reflect Amazon's end-of-period snapshot. Short-term spikes that resolve mid-period may not be visible.

Drill-through opens the ASIN Focus Report. Clicking on a date in the detail table navigates away from this dashboard — make a note of your current filter settings if you plan to return.
