What the Seller Central Catalog Is For
Your emax digital catalog is where you see all the products in your Seller Central account and where you enrich them with the information that powers the rest of the Analytics Hub. The more complete your catalog, the more you can do across the dashboards — category and subcategory analysis, tagging, company margin, and price-vs-RRP comparisons all depend on the inputs you maintain here.
Search and Filter Options
-
Search bar — find single products or ASINs quickly. You can search by different terms, e.g. ASIN or product title.
-
Filters — filter by availability and by marketplace.
-
Columns — choose which columns are displayed by ticking the checkbox, and reorder columns by dragging and dropping (only columns marked with the three horizontal lines can be reordered).
Column Types
Seller Central columns
Information we get directly from Amazon. These are not editable in the tool.
Custom columns
Information that you fill in and customise to your needs. We strongly recommend completing these so you do not limit your tool usage and experience:
-
Additional Parent ASIN — ideal for storing your internal model number and tracking broken variations.
-
Categories, Subcategories, Tags — ideal for internal model names, categorisations, and seasonal information. These drive the category/subcategory/tag filters across the Hub.
-
Fixed and variable costs per unit — needed if you want to see your company margin (also available at ASIN level).
-
RRP (Recommended Retail Price) — lets you compare your product's Buy Box price against your RRP and activates the Price Alarm in the Portfolio Analyzer.
Only designate an ASIN as "ignored" in the custom column if the ASIN and its historical data are irrelevant. To exclude products from specific dashboards, it is better to tag the ASINs as "inactive" in the catalog rather than using the "ignored" column.
Migration note (Phase 1b): This setup page content was folded in from the legacy Seller Analytics page "Seller Catalog Walkthrough" (1666089108) per the Root-6 migration decision (catalog content belongs under Setup).
