How to Connect AMC (Marketing Cloud)

Connecting Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) works differently from a standard SP-API or Advertising API connection. Because AMC is tied to your advertising entities and DSP setup, onboarding runs through your customer success manager and requires a data-ownership confirmation with Amazon.

In a nutshell

  1. Send a list of your advertising entity IDs to your customer success manager.

  2. Confirm to Amazon that you are the owner of these advertising entities.

  3. Attend an onboarding session.

Step 1: Send the completed template to your customer success manager

Send an Excel file containing:

  • Your advertising entity IDs (PPC).

  • Your DSP agency's CFID and your DSP entity ID.

Send this to support@emax-digital.com. An entity template is available from emax digital (download entity template).

Step 2: Confirm data ownership to Amazon

After we receive the required information, our Amazon Partner Manager will contact you by email and ask you to confirm data ownership β€” you simply reply to the email. Unless you have your own DSP console, the agency you hired must confirm approval of the DSP CFID and your DSP entity ID; in that case, please make sure your agency also confirms the release of the data to Amazon.

We cannot say in advance which specific Amazon employee will contact you, so please keep an eye on your inbox. We will also let you know as soon as we receive feedback from Amazon.

Step 3: Schedule an onboarding session

Onboarding includes a session with our Amazon experts. Once you have completed the previous steps, you can schedule an appointment with your customer success manager (support@emax-digital.com).
