Migration note (Phase 1b): Content reproduced from the legacy page "How to connect a Vendor SP API?" (1666580613) — data-scope and history portion. Grammar and structure tidied; not yet optimised or fact-checked. This page may be supplemented with richer detail from the Vendor Analytics root in a later migration step.
This page describes which data emax digital imports from Vendor Central via the Selling Partner API (SP-API), and how far back the history goes.
What data comes from the Vendor SP-API?
Reports for the Amazon Retail Analytics program (ARA) and Brand Analytics reports are imported into the emax digital Analytics Hub via the SP-API. This includes:
-
Sales and Traffic Reports
-
Real-time Sales Report
-
Inventory Report
-
NetPPM Report
-
Market Basket Report
How much history is imported, and how long does it take?
Both current and historical data are imported as part of the onboarding process. Everything that is provided by Amazon is imported.
For the Vendor SP-API, this is retroactive from the day of connection:
|
Report granularity |
History imported (number of periods) |
|---|---|
|
Daily reports |
1460 |
|
Weekly reports |

Monthly reports |

Disconnecting an account
If you want to disconnect your account, you can do so at any time by hitting disconnect. Go to Data Connections, hit disconnect, confirm your action, and hit save. The import of the data will be stopped immediately and the data will be removed from the company account within 24 hours.
Data from disconnected accounts cannot be restored after 60 days. To reconnect an account, a new authorization is required.
For the full disconnect/reconnect workflow across all connection types, see Managing Data Connections (Setup and Configuration → Administration).
