Using Data in Your AI Tools (MCP)

emax digital data is no longer limited to the emax digital platform. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), you can now access emax digital's Amazon data, pre-calculated metrics, and built-in intelligence directly from your own AI tools — without switching applications or exporting files.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external data sources. Think of it as a bridge: your AI tool sends a request, the emax digital MCP server processes it against your connected Amazon data, and returns structured results — all within your existing AI conversation.

Supported AI tools

The emax digital MCP integration is currently available for four platforms:

What you get through MCP

The MCP integration gives your AI tool access to 23 tools, built on the same data and intelligence that power Emma inside the emax digital platform. For a description of every tool, see Discover the 23 Tools Your AI Assistant Can Use via MCP. This includes:

Data access

• Vendor and Seller performance data — sales, revenue, inventory, traffic, conversion rates, and advertising metrics at marketplace, category, and ASIN level

• Advertising data — campaign-level and ASIN-level metrics from Amazon Sponsored Ads, including spend, ACOS, ROAS, and TACOS

• Product catalog — search and look up products by name or ASIN, including custom category hierarchies configured in emax digital

• Pre-calculated metrics — cross-source calculations such as TACOS that are not available from Amazon consoles directly

• Listing and stock monitoring — current detail page status, content completeness, variation structure, star ratings, inventory health, Buy Box, and competing sellers

• Market data — Amazon search demand, keyword rankings, and bestseller ranks, including competitor products

Built-in intelligence

• Tool descriptions and parameter guidance — the MCP server includes detailed instructions that help your AI tool understand which data to request and how to interpret the results

• Knowledge hub — access to curated Amazon best practices and emax digital documentation, searchable by your AI tool to provide context-aware recommendations

• Key Insights — automatically calculated alerts that highlight what needs your attention

Data scope and availability

The data available through MCP matches the AI Skill enabled data described on the What Data Emma can Access page. This includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly granularity for advertising data, and weekly through yearly for Vendor and Seller data.

Data privacy and security

Getting started

1. Contact your emax digital account manager to request MCP beta access.

2. Once enabled, follow the setup guide for your AI tool: Getting Started with MCP (Setup & Supported AI Tools).

3. Start asking questions — your AI tool will automatically discover the available emax digital data tools. See the tool overview for what each one does.
