๐งช MCP integration is currently in closed beta
This feature is available to selected users only. To request access, contact your emax digital account manager.
emax digital data is no longer limited to the emax digital platform. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), you can now access emax digital's Amazon data, pre-calculated metrics, and built-in intelligence directly from your own AI tools โ without switching applications or exporting files.
The diagram below shows how MCP fits alongside Emma's existing data access modes โ all rooted in the same emax digital data layer.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external data sources. Think of it as a bridge: your AI tool sends a request, the emax digital MCP server processes it against your connected Amazon data, and returns structured results โ all within your existing AI conversation.
Supported AI tools
The emax digital MCP integration is currently available for three platforms:
|
AI tool |
How it connects |
|---|---|
|
Claude (Anthropic) |
Native MCP support via Claude.ai and Claude Desktop |
|
GitHub Copilot (Microsoft) |
MCP integration via Copilot Chat |
|
ChatGPT (OpenAI) |
MCP integration via ChatGPT |
Setup is straightforward โ once your emax digital account manager has enabled MCP access for your account, connecting takes only a few steps within your AI tool. Detailed setup instructions are provided during onboarding.
What you get through MCP
The MCP integration gives your AI tool access to the same data and intelligence that powers Emma inside the emax digital platform. This includes:
Data access
-
Vendor and Seller performance data โ sales, revenue, inventory, traffic, conversion rates, and advertising metrics at marketplace, category, and ASIN level
-
Advertising data โ campaign-level and ASIN-level metrics from Amazon Sponsored Ads, including spend, ACOS, ROAS, and TACOS
-
Product catalog โ search and look up products by name or ASIN, including custom category hierarchies configured in emax digital
-
Pre-calculated metrics โ cross-source calculations such as TACOS (combining Vendor/Seller Central data with Amazon Advertising data) that are not available from Amazon consoles directly
Built-in intelligence
-
Tool descriptions and parameter guidance โ the MCP server includes detailed instructions that help your AI tool understand which data to request and how to interpret the results, without requiring you to know the underlying data structure
-
Knowledge hub โ access to curated Amazon best practices and emax digital documentation, searchable by your AI tool to provide context-aware recommendations
Example use cases
Once connected, you can ask your AI tool questions like:
"Show me the top 10 ASINs by revenue in Germany for last month, with ACOS and TACOS."
"Compare my Seller Central sales in the UK vs France for Q1 2026."
"Which products had an ACOS above 30% last week? What should I do about them?"
Your AI tool will call the emax digital MCP server, retrieve the data from your connected Amazon accounts, and present the results in context โ just as if you were asking Emma inside the platform.
Data scope and availability
The data available through MCP matches the AI Skill enabled data described on the Data Sources & Roadmap page. This includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly granularity for advertising data, and weekly through yearly for Vendor and Seller data. The same data availability timings apply (Ads API ~1 hour delay, Seller Central ~1 day, Vendor Central ~72 hours).
MCP access requires active Amazon account connections in emax digital (Vendor Central, Seller Central, and/or Amazon Ads API). The MCP server can only return data for accounts that are connected in your emax digital setup.
