Discover the 23 Tools Your AI Assistant Can Use via MCP

πŸ§ͺ MCP integration is currently in closed beta. This feature is available to selected users only. To request access, contact your emax digital account manager.

Emma is the AI analyst inside the emax digital platform. With MCP, you can bring Emma's brain into the AI tool you already work with.

The emax digital MCP server gives Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Langdock access to 23 specialized tools, built on the same engine that powers Emma. They cover your Vendor and Seller performance, advertising results, listing health, competitors, and the wider Amazon market. They also include the intelligence that ties it all together.

You don't need to pick or configure tools yourself. Just ask your question in plain language, and your AI tool chooses the right tool, retrieves the data from emax digital, and builds the answer. This page shows what each tool does, so you know what's possible and what to ask for.

For setup instructions, see Getting Started with MCP (Setup & Supported AI Tools). For more example questions, see What You Can Do with MCP (Use Cases).

πŸ’‘ Tip: Many AI tools show which tool they're using while they work, e.g. "Calling get_performance…". The tool names in the tables below help you follow along.

Analyze Performance & Advertising

The core of your Amazon analytics: how your business is doing right now, how it has developed, and what your advertising delivers.

Tool

What it does

Try asking

get_performance

Shows your Vendor or Seller performance for a single period. It covers sales, advertising, inventory, pricing, content, returns, and supply chain, with comparisons to the previous period and previous year.

"How did Ordered Revenue in Germany develop last month compared to the same month last year?"

get_performance_trend

Shows how your KPIs developed over several periods, so you can spot trends instead of single snapshots.

"Show me the weekly Conversion Rate trend for our top category over the last 12 weeks."

get_advertising_performance

Gives a deep dive into your Amazon Ads: ACOS, ROAS, spend, budget, new-to-brand, and the engagement funnel. You can break it down by campaign, marketplace, ad type, ASIN, or targeting.

"Which Sponsored Products campaigns in the UK had an ACOS above 35% last week?"

Monitor Your Listings & Stock

These tools show the current state of your products on Amazon: what's live, what's broken, and who's competing. They return snapshots, not historical trends.

Tool

What it does

Try asking

get_inventory_run_rate

Shows current on-hand inventory and sales velocity, and classifies each product's stock health from Out of Stock to Overstock.

"Which ASINs in Germany are at risk of running out of stock?"

get_detail_page_status

Checks whether a product detail page is live and purchasable, offline, or redirected to another page.

"Are any of our bestsellers currently not purchasable on amazon.fr?"

get_content_audit

Rates the completeness of your live Amazon content per ASIN. It covers images, title, bullet points, description, A+ Content, video, and an overall Content Score.

"Which products in our Kitchen category have the lowest Content Score?"

get_content_monitor

Compares your live Amazon content with the master content stored in emax digital and highlights differences in title, images, description, A+ Content, and bullet points.

"Has anyone changed the title or images of our top 20 ASINs on Amazon?"

get_variation_status

Checks whether the parent-child variation structure in your catalog matches what Amazon currently shows on the live detail page.

"Are there any ASINs where Amazon shows a different parent than in our catalog?"

get_review_performance

Shows the current star rating and the 1–5 star distribution per ASIN, including how ratings changed over the last 7 and 30 days.

"Which products lost the most rating points in the last 30 days?"

get_buy_box_price_monitor

Compares Buy Box price and Buy Box winner between two crawl dates. Note: this is based on scraped page data and is an approximation, not a measured Buy Box win rate.

"Did we lose the Buy Box on any ASINs in Italy since last week?"

get_competing_sellers

Shows which other sellers are currently offering your products on Amazon.

"Which third-party sellers are currently selling our products in Germany?"

Understand Your Market

These tools look beyond your own sales data, at search demand, rankings, and how visible you are against competitors.

Tool

What it does

Try asking

get_bestseller_ranking

Shows Amazon bestseller ranks, prices, and ratings in your categories, including competitor products.

"Where do our products rank in the Coffee Machines bestseller list, and who's ahead of us?"

get_keyword_research

Gives market-wide Amazon search demand for search terms, based on Amazon Brand Analytics. This is market data, not data specific to your account.

"What are the most searched terms around 'protein powder' in Germany?"

get_keyword_visibility

Shows where your products rank in Amazon search results for the keywords you track, alongside price and rating.

"For which of our tracked keywords did we drop off the first page?"

Know What Needs Your Attention

Instead of you looking for problems, this tool tells you where they are.

Tool

What it does

Try asking

get_insights

Reads the alerts emax digital calculates automatically for your business, across 42 alert types. It's the fastest way to answer "What should I look at today?"

"What are the most important insights for our Vendor account this week?"

Explore Your Catalog & Accounts

Tool

What it does

Try asking

get_catalog_metadata

Gives you a fast overview of your catalog: counts and available values for categories, tags, and marketplaces.

"How many ASINs do we have per category, and which marketplaces are we active in?"

list_companies

Lists all companies you have access to in emax digital. Your AI tool usually runs this first, and it's useful if you manage several brands or accounts.

"Which companies can I access?"

Learn & Give Feedback

Tool

What it does

Try asking

search_knowledge_hub

Searches the emax digital Knowledge Hub for Amazon concepts, best practices, and documentation, so answers come with expert context.

"What's a good ACOS benchmark, and how can I improve it?"

create_feature_request

Sends a feature wish or missing capability directly to the emax digital team as a structured request.

"I'd like to see Subscribe & Save data β€” please log that as a feature request."

Working Behind the Scenes

You'll rarely ask for these tools directly. Your AI tool uses them automatically to make answers accurate.

Tool

What it does

When it's used

resolve_catalog

Translates how you describe a product, category, or brand into the exact identifiers in your emax digital catalog.

When you say "our espresso machines" instead of listing ASINs.

get_report_date

Resolves time references like "last week" or "Q2" into exact reporting periods, so every tool uses the same dates.

Whenever your question includes a time period.

calculator

Performs precise calculations on data that has already been retrieved.

When you ask for shares, differences, or growth rates.

get_capabilities

Tells your AI tool which marketplaces, data levels, and currencies are supported, and what the known limitations are.

When you ask "What data is available from emax digital?"

Good to know

Your AI tool only accesses data for the Amazon accounts connected in your emax digital setup, and only within your user permissions. Available tools and data coverage may change as the integration evolves during the beta. For known limitations, see MCP Troubleshooting and Limitations.
